Nudist idea #31: Stop buying swimsuits

I cannot believe I started this thread of 100 ideas already one month ago. Already 30 ideas were published and read by more than 20,000 people! Thank you for all your comments and encouragements. So coming to the idea #31, it goes well with the nudist idea #29, avoid textile beach. When you do not own swimsuits, you will not be able to go to a textile beach.

I have only a couple of swimsuits left, and I am not sure what I will do when the last one get so old, I cannot wear it anymore (I may need to keep one, in case of, but not even sure… time will tell).

It just shows why we need all beaches to become clothing optional, so the world can get rid of this useless piece of clothing. And once you do not own any of those swimsuits, textile beaches are no longer an option and sharing your love for nudism becomes easier as you will have to tell friends and families that you need to go to the nude beach or that you will be naked if they join you on your premises if you have a swimming pool.

France is a naturist eden

In France, you’ll find over 160 naturist clubs and associations. As well as more than 150 naturist holidays resorts and camping parks. It generates over 3,000 direct and indirect jobs. Finally, naturism is embraced by over 2 million people, half of them from foreign countries, coming to France to spend some naked holidays.

When you compare those figures to the ones of other countries close to France, including those having more sunny days every year, like Spain or Italy, you soon realize France is a naturist eden. Above and beyond those figures, let’s look at some objectives elements.

If you live in France, there’s a naturist site next to you

One of the first question all aspiring naturist is generally asking is: where can I get naked, alone of with friends? If it’s possible to be naked in nature, it’s generally better to undress in places where it’s allowed: beach, camping park, resort, etc.

Take a look at the French Federation of Naturism web site and realize there are naturist sites all over the French territory. Go to our partner Naturisme.fr to find the right naturist camping park for you.

Naturism, shared by millions of like-minded naturists, is a lifestyle. Naked, in nature, you unwind and enjoy wonderful moments. If you do not fancy traveling, you can get naked at home. Being naked on a daily basis, doing house chores naked for instance, is a great way to enjoy the many benefits of naturism. Then sharing this nakedness with others make the experience social and friendly.

Tolerance and naturism

From an independant study, 11 million of French people are ready to try naturism. This makes a lot of people who consider nudity as normal. What is it for every naturist. This means that a relative tolerance exists when it comes to naturist who get naked outside of approved places. Relative because there’s a law article, L222-32, that states that “sexual exhibition imposed to others in a place accessible to public is punishable by one year of imprisonment and 15,000 euros fine”. In an nutshell, you are naked, at home or in your garden and are seen by somebody, vous can go to jail and be fined!

Not really comforting. There are however legal precedents that are tolerant, thanks notably to the Association for the Promotion of Naturism. However, pay attention and have something handy to cover your privates. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. When will France have a more precise legal framework, like in Germany, making a difference between simple nudity and sexual exhibition. With the leading naturist country, this sounds like obvious!

Sun, sea, mountain, countryside

France offers various landscapes to all nature lovers. Whether you like sea, mountains or countryside, there are naturist sites everywhere. This is one of the major tourist attractions of France. It’s possible to merge the thrill of discovering new sites and the pleasure of naturism.

If you’ve never been on a nakation (naked vacation), vous may have tons of questions. the blog post 10 advices for the aspiring nudist (in French) will provide a good start. However, be aware that once tried, it’s very difficult to go back to textile life. Trying is adopting!

So? What are you waiting for? Still doubting? Read 7 reasons to visit the nearest nudist club and What to expect from naturist holidays. Finally, you have nothing to lose but your clothes. 6 ideas to spend the long Labor Day week-end NAKED!

We are just about to start a 3-day week-end for those who are celebrating Labor Day, by not working! It’s an ideal time, with spring blossoming in the northern hemisphere, to spend 3 full day sans clothing! So for those who might be clueless about what to do, here are 6 simple ideas for you to enjoy 3 full day of complete nudity.

  1. Pay a visit to your local naturist resort. Place a phone call, check if there’s some vacancy, pack your minimum suitcase and on we go! A great way to relax and enjoy nudity in a safe and fun environment. If you are a newbie, you’ll have 3 full days to get into the nudism mood.
  2. Throw your clothes away on Thursday evening and stay home. Whether you’re a home nudist or cannot go to a naturist resort, just stay home and get naked. You do not need clothes to do what you have to do at home. If you are organized, you can pack your fridge with food so you do not have to get dressed to go shopping.
  3. Head to the closest nudist beach. The sun is out? Go to the beach and work on your tan, without any lines. If you can, drive to the beach naked and come back naked. Extra minutes without having to dress.
  4. Celebrate the World Naked Gardening Day. On Saturday May 2, the world is celebrating the World Naked Gardening Day. It’s a great occasion to go outside, rain or sun, and take care of your garden with the best suit you have, your birthday suit!
  5. Pack a rucksack and head to the nearest hiking trail. Three days are just enough to go on a long trail hike and experience the exhilaration of naked hiking. Look on the Internet for a hike in your neighborhood or get to your hiking guide, ask friends to join and hop on the bus gus, and get yourself free!
  6. Invite friends to a bring-and-share naked party. You have some nudist friends or some non-nudists who are open-minded? Throw a simple pool or garden party over the week-end, and ask each to bring and share food and beverages. Organize some games, forget your clothes and have fun!

I wish you a great and relaxing Labor Day week-end! Enjoy it, naked of course!
